I tried to play my PS 2 the other day, and found that I COULDN'T due to the controller! IMO I'd rather keep upgrading my system. (but the xbox 360 does look sweet)

honestly, I think the x1900xt would be the best option for you. I have a 360, and what game am I playing on it? halo 2 (which is a xbox1 game).
PC gaming is just so much better IMO if you have good hardware to go along with it.

In his situation the additional cost would be minimal since he already has one card and is thinking of a new power supply anyway (Is this still the case?).

True, the efficiency and heat output of SLI are discouraging, but for me, those would only be minor drawbacks. I think the best argument is SLI's compatibility issues with some games. Are new releases still having problems or is mainly the older titles?

If SLI sounds too buggy, supastar, there is no doubt you would be happy with an x1900xt. I just thought you should know whats out there performance wise.
