I received mine from outpost last Saturday w/ 11 bent pins. Most just slightly, but 5 of them on the corner were bent over completely flat. And like others, it was not sitting properly in it's tray. I think what happened is that they had a whole truck load of these that got in a major accident on the way to the warehouse and they just said "sell 'em". ;)

But it's a SL6S2 Malay (L248) as well, so I just put on my magno-glasses and went to work on it and 5-10 mins later it was up and running. And as you can see in my sig, I have a good o'c out of it as well.

Strange though... I got a better 3DMark03 score out of it at 3.2GHz than I did at 3.3GHz. And I have to bump the voltage a couple notches to 1.575 to get a stable 3.3+. So I think I'm going back to 3.2 w/ 1.525 vcore and calling it good. I want it to run cool (using a SLK-900) at stock vcore because w/ my luck it'll burn up 2 days after the 30-day warranty.

Hell I remember back in the P2-P3 days, to get a 100-300 MHz o'c from a chip was fantastic. So to get a 700+MHz o'c is as sweet as it gets.

BTW Technonut...if you're looking to get 3.7GHz out of this next one, me thinks you'll be back on the phone for another RMA. Really, I can't imagine a chip (while stable) holding a o'c like that for an extended amount of time. 1200MHz over it's rated speed!? Come on...

P.S. Anyone have some 3DMark03 or 01 result links they can post like mine below so we can compare o'c processor and video o'c results??

You would think that someone would wise up with all the
complaints they have received from ppl.

There is no excuse for these bent pins.

No, I will be out another $200.00. I do not RMA components that die when OC'ed. The 2.53 with bent pins is another story.... Anyway, If I am lucky enough to get 3.7GHz out of the next one, it should be fine with phase-change cooling. My 3.06 @ 3.8GHz was a smooth daily runner. ;) I actually was able to run the 2.53 @ 3.7GHz with lower VCore than 3.5GHz using high-end air-cooling....
