Did play with the 1006 final.
Nice to have everything working as it should be without 3rd party stuff. 😉

The chip is in Ft. Worth, TX which is only about three hour drive from here.
It was there this morning and still shows no departure scan for Austin.
Maybe in the morning it will show up. :|

EDIT:
I did go ahead and order some HyperX PC3500 2X256 modules from Googlegear.
Thank you for your testing of the HyperX - Mr. Rook
Also installed the P4G8X-D in my wifes PC so will be testing the 2.6C in it when it comes in.
She only has a 64Mb 9000 Radeon but everything else will be about the same for testing.

Thugs, if you're still reading this thread, which 92mm fan did you use? I installed the MCX4000 today and it did drop the max temp w/ Arctic Silver about 6 degrees, but the 80mm Thermaltake case fan II sounds like a jet engine. 🙂 Fortunately the QFan Control set to fast response time makes it bearable for now. What doesn't help is that the fan isn't all that balanced, so the computer vibrates too on the higher RPMs.

Thanks

P.S. I used a pretty thin amount of Arctic Silver, hopefully not too thin... Less messy though too thin than too much. I could see the CPU slightly, should the CPU be coated so that you can't see it at all?

Enable your PM's in your profile and send Thugs a PM.
There is a link to PM's in the upper corner of every post. 😉

Thanks jhites, I will do that. In the mean time I just turned down the maximum speed of the fan to prevent the vibration. I'll start a new thread rather than keep borrowing yours. 🙂
