YA BABY! Hit the big 250 tonight! It is bitter sweet though, I came home tonight to a dead stick of ram. Doh!
 
congrats on the 2.............5................0..............i quess it a high price you pay....for the all mighty w/u.....one stick per 250......ouch....

Well to compensate I undid my ram overclock and raised my FSB a bit more. Seems to have me close to where I was. Too bad ram went up in price! Anyway, thanks everyone and keep on crunching!

I was very close to buying a stick about a month and a half ago to have just in case and didn't do it. I am now kicking myself in the rump. To make things worse I can't try and rma because I have this ram that I traded a friend for becuase ECC wont work in his system and he bought it from his friend that bought it from newegg and his friend moved out of state. Total pisser!

NOPE! Was a stick of 256 crucial ECC DDR. I even tried it in a system I was building for my cousin with the same mobo and It would not boot. I guess I can get another for under $90 after the AT 15% discount.

PS - Hope that RAM had a good warranty. (Mushkin or Crucial are nice that way!) 🙂
