Looks like a not so bad deal, but they are actually only cutting 10 bucks off of the price. It says that their normal price is 49.99 at their site. Still not bad for 2.4ghz. My biggest put-off is the manufacturer. All of these Bell phones (I have owned 2 within the past few years, and currently have one, although it sits on the stand almost all the time) is that they have weak volumes and tunnel-sound. I have also had problems with them eating up batteries. Anyway. Good luck on the deal. Hope they have improved the quality of their phones.

Has anyone out there used this phone?

I've been waiting for a 2.4Ghz phone thread for a while (my 900Mhz phone has some issues)

I don't wanna buy a piece of sh!t phone.

Thanks

just as additional input, not to crap on the thread, but the Bell company phones i've had have always been absolutely horrible in general quality of manufacture. and that, of course, led to perfomance problems in no time flat, if not immediately (ie. buttons not working, no dial tone, sticky parts). i've had a few different types of bell phones so in my experience the poor quality has applied across the board. but i got cheap enough deals on them that they WERE worth what i paid for them -- but not much. 40bux is still prolly too much, even for 2.4Ghz, IMHO. Spending a similar amount on a higher quality 900mHz phone with a good feature array might just be a better move.

ps. i have never owned or seen THIS particular model. and yes, in my experience with different places i've lived, some frequencies work better than others.

Thx for posting!
