I have my house networked using 802.11b (the new linksys, works pretty well actually (full 11mb connection throughout the entire 3600 square foot house)). Anyway I would like to get a 2.4 GHz phone and I was wondering if it would interfere with the network, and if it does interfere, is their a particular brand or phone that does not? Thanks!

I decided to stick with a 900 MHz phone for just this reason. Tho if you must get a 2.4 GHz phone, it most likely won't be a problem.

It not supposes to interfere.

The transmission of both Phone and computer is not straight 2.4MHz, each machine has unique encode and decode, otherwise there will be no privacy what so ever even between phones.

Actually, the answer is.... maybe. I haven't seen too much, but it is possible.
All depends on the channels they're trying to use, although most products will attempt to switch channels if they detect interference. Microwave ovens operate in this bandwidth also. Overall, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
(I have 802.11b, 2.4 Ghz phone, and 2.4 Ghz wireless video transmitters (two pairs))
