Just a warning, TT Systems made the IBM 2.4GHz cordless phone that I bought from Amazon and its horrible. Half the time you either can't get all the numbers to dial or you have to press them repeatedly to hear the tone meaning it went through. If you can get the number dialed then talking on it is fine. The IBM looks similar to this phone except it has a display and its black.

Of course, I have 3 2.4 GHZ phone and my luck has been terrible. My IBM can't dial all the time, my Panasonic gets Out of Range errors all the time, and my Uniden's "part you talk into" only works when it wants to. Maybe they should all merge and make a phone that everything works correctly on!
 
I bought one since one of my phones crapped out. Of course...for $25 these are "throw away" phones...if it works for 1-2 years I'm happy 🙂

Anyone have any good deals on a 2.4 phone with caller ID and answering machine? Need to replace my old answering machine also...
 
I just picked up a Sony SPP-A2770 2.4GHz phone w/answering machine on clearance for $70 from Target yesterday...50% off orig. Got an additional handset for $40...also 50% off orig. Haven't really tested it yet, but it looks nice and has some good features. Wish it was 75% off. 😛
