It's at BUY.com. 100TDK pack. I don't know if there good kind of TDK cdr. I tried to research them at at cdmediaworld but could not find the specifics. Maybe someone can help me find out if these TDK's are good media? Let me know if this is a bad buy or good or average. I am looking for media to mainly backup data and some of my pc and psx games. I'll be using a Plextor 8/4/32.

Ok my calculation:
$38.99x2=$77.98+$8.67shipping=$86.65x1.0725(Ca sales tax)=$92.94-$10 off All customer coupon=$82.94-(2)$20 mail in rebates=$42.94

I wish staples had it so I could either/both price match it and drop it with a coupon and get 200cdrs for $29 after all the purchasing and rebate stuff.

I just learned the art of pricematching and coupon using yesterday and got a Plextor 8/4/32 for $123.51 shipped. Does anyone know if staples coupons can be used over. I saw nothing of first timers.

Let me know if you can find a better deal so I know if I need more homework on finding the best deal I can.

Better yet to wait another 20 hours until Monday 11/20 for Buy.com's free shipping to be in effect.

Don't forget about ordering through eBates to save an additional 3%.

Free shipping! Even better now, $33.64. But the $10 all customer coupon expires on 11/20. Can I still use it on the expiration date?

I still want to find out if this is a good CDR before I go and purchase it though.

Not that great.

Bestbuy.com has had some good deals on CDrs lately. 100pk Imation 700MBs for $20 after a $20 MIR. I'll take Imations over TDK any day :D

The 100pack Imations are $54.99 now. Where'd you get the rebate? Where can I get these Imations cheap now? These 80min/700mb cdrs can be used normally like a 74min/650mb cdr right? Got many question there. Help me out.

Imations over TDKs? Are you smoking crack? TDKs are so much better than Imations! These TDKs are probably "100% Certified" so they may even be the same quality as those Imations. If these were "Certified Plus", the deal would be awesome.

Are you smoking crack? ;)

Go there right now! ... and pick up a couple of spindles for me while you're at it to please.

That's a smokin' deal. I've used a bunch of the Fujis and have had no problems with them. I've got a good setup so that helps but on their own the Fujis are Taiyo Yuden made which is amazing. I'm thinking that these must be Taiyo Yuden OEM specials for Fuji, I mean, they must be at a lower quality or something like that for them to be blowing out the door for such a great price like that. However, i'm sure that even Taiyo Yuden's "second" quality cdrs are probably as good or better than your standard RITEK stuff.

50 cdrs for 10 bucks? I wished I lived close to CompUSA.

Not sure about the manufacturer of TDK. But, AFAIK, the Fuji at CompUSA is from Taiko Yuden. The Imation is from CMC.

I don't trust CMC manufacturing CDRs that I'm going to be using. Okay, they also make Hotans (ever heard of those?). From my first experiences with writing to CDs, let's just say I had about a 10% success rate. We tried 4x, no good. We tried 2x, got maybe 1 successful and the rest were coasters. We even tried 1x and the same result. I've never had ANY problems with TDKs (Certified Plus). Have you even read reviews on CDRs? I think CD Media World does reviews on them and I read from their review that TDKs are one of the best.

Those Imation CDRs by CMC can't even write above 4x anyways. I just read the reviews on it.

You only need that many CD's if you dupe music CD's for resale or do some software pirating! 200 * 700 MB = 140,000 MB = 140 GIGABYTES of Data - you could back up the whole darn Internet on that! ;)

Well, some people get off on stuff like that.

Me pirate, hell no! Just trying to get the best bang for my buck. Ya I would be suspicious of someone loading up on 3 or even 1 (100) pack of cdrs. So I went for the 50 pack deal. Nice!

Lots of us with huge music collections like to make compilations of favorite songs and transfer vinyl to CD. You'd be suprised how quickly you can go through 100 CD's. Nothing suspicious at all about buying 2 or 3 100 packs.
