Hi, i am looking for a very good 2.1 speaker to with either a Abit or Asus onboard sound( are the sound onboard the same?)

I also have Audigy2 PCI, How does it compare with onboard sound.? I know there is different, at least i paid $100 for the card awhile ago. but is it just use less system resources and more enhanced EAX?

I need a good bass speaker to play FPS games and MP3.

currently i have 4.1 400w Speaker, but i will be moving to a small place, so i need a compact one.(z560 is huge, especially the woofer)

ya, please gimme some thoughts.

thanks

logitech z340's- cheap but not all that powerful...but very small

klipsch promedia 2.1's- expensive, but powerful, about half the total size of ur z560's

altec 621's...... moderate price, still pretty powerful, smaller sub than the kipsch but bigger sattelites

altec ATP3...... a little more expensive than z340's but also more powerful..... relatively small but pretty ugly

from what i hear abit onboard sound totally blows
asus ain't bad though...... u'd probably want to stick ur audigy 2 in either one of them though.......

what about comparing altec lansing 621 and 2100?

both speakers seems very alike.

which one is more powerful and expensive?

last but not least, the 221, imho this speaker look very ugly but very cheap. how is it compare to the above speakers?

I really like the z560, unlimited bass .... just very good. too bad i don't have enough room for it.

I'm also using the Audigy 2 Platinum EX in tandem with the NForce2 Soundchip which I have the NewQ hook to with out any problems. The audigy2 is much better in specs (106db s/n ratio) and sounds better IMO esp when using the full surround (EAX) so I would @ least opt for 4.1. (ie Z-560)...You can add a Center channel later but even with 2.1's you can add 2 more sets through the Audigy's speaker inputs later on
