Description
The SiPix SC-2100 digital camera delivers spectacular detail and color with its 2.1 Mega Pixel resolution. Included with the SC-2100 is a removable, reusable 8MB CompactFlash card. With CompactFlash you can delete the pictures and use the card over again. Or when the memory card becomes full, just take it out and put another one in.

Featuring a USB interface, you'll get blazing-fast downloads, up to 10 times faster than serial interfaces. Use the 2X digital zoom or macro mode to get up close to your subject. With the auto focus lens, taking a picture is as simple as pushing the shutter button. For those looking for more control, the SC-2100 has manual adjustable exposure, white balance and sharpness controls. The continuous shot mode allows you to capture four continuous pictures in a row. The 1.8-inch color LCD monitor provides accurate framing, image previewing or instant playback. Thin film transistor (TFT) technology displays a detailed colorful image.

Reviews actually look pretty favorable for this camera. Anyone heard of SiPix??

Stay far away from this one, kids. I bought one of these and it was a POS. Thank God for Eb*y or I'd still be stuck with it. Wouldn't focus right on anything beyond 10 ft and ate batteries like nobodies business. Spend a few more bucks and get something decent. The only way this deal is hot is if you get it for free and that might be stretching it.

If you want a better camera, I bought this one for my girlfriend Konica@Costco.

It's 2.1MP, 3x optical zoom, $200 after MIR ($235 shipped for me since I don't have a Costco membership) only weighs 5.9oz (without batteries), and is very small. It's about as small, if not smaller, than those APS film cameras and it's just a hair larger than the Canon Digital ELPH S300. The flash is pretty weak in a dark room so indoor zoom shots come out a bit underexposed, but most indoor pics come out okay, and outdoor pics have good color and are fairly sharp. The camera is a bit more complicated to use than many I've seen since 1 button toggles the modes, but to its advantage, the camera does have 2 LCD's (1 color, one small one for status). The camera supports 640x480, 1280x960, and 1600x1200. IMO, the Konica is a better deal for the money, and I think it's a pretty good camera for the price.
