i have just switched to a new computer setup and was looking for a new speaker system my father offered his in which i dont know how much use it had but i am guessing not much. i took his offer and plugged it in and for the most part it seemed to work fine! until i tried to play a bass heavy song to try out the subwoofer and discovered that there is little to no sound coming from the subwoofer. if anyone knows a software that could turn up the subwoofer without disrupting the 2 other speakers that would be great. i have a harman/kardon model: hk695-01

Sounds like an equalizer needs adjusting. Should be one in your audio software. It would allow you to adjust loudness by frequency band.
