It should also be noted that the Skyrim Creation Kit came out today, along with an official high-resolution texture pack. Now you can make your Skyrim look less console-ish, and almost like a proper PC game. ;)

Pardon my ignorance, but how long do the midweek madness sales last?

If someone is looking to get into the elder scrolls game, I think the collection is a good deal.

Oblivion GOTY for $9.99, that is a good price.

I've been holding out on Skyrim but I don't think I can wait any longer. I wants it.

I cannot notice a huge difference to be honest.

Perhaps I shall finally pick up Oblivion?

Morrowind...I did not care for it. No sir, not at all.

It insists upon itself.

I bought Skyrim today as well; with the Creation Kit out, having the subscribe feature for your favorite mods on Steam is golden.

I picked Oblivion up in November. It takes a little bit of a learning curve, such as the shops are not open at night, finding your way around town, which graphics settings work the best,,,.

After about 3 - 4 hours, I finally got everything figured out and am having a good time with the game.

Ouch. I was hoping for a sale on Skyrim today, but I was hoping for closer to $30 rather then $40. I am having a hard time justifying buying it for the PC considering someone gave me the xbox version.

PC has creation kit and access to fan mods, which you won't get on console, as far as I know.

Plus, it will always look better.

But I see your point, already having a very extensive amount of content available in another version, $40 sounds like a lot.

I actually, briefly, debated on whether or not getting this for PS3, instead. glad I didn't.

I did read somewhere that Bethesda is going to try to make the most popular player mods avalible as DLC for Xbox and PS3. So there is hope for that.

It should also be noted that Amalur came out today. So someone is trying to edge out the competition it would seem.

Pretty good price, but I'll probably hold out a while longer. I've had a backlog of close to 20 unplayed games on steam for at least 2 years. Hah :)

Totally had to jump on this, even though it will be a few more weeks before I order parts for a gaming rig; I'll have something to look forward to trying it out with.

That coupon I got back in December for 33% off titles published by Bethesda was useful today. It stacked with the Midweek Madness sale, and I picked up Skyrim for $26.

Nice...anyone else have a Bethesda coupon they'd be willing to part with? I have Valve coupons for trade :)
