2.0 Audio System?

Hello all, not the most approiate place to post, but of all the forums I visit I thought this would be the best place to get an answer.

I have a great system at home, but I am moving into a grad. dorm at college, and like most it has a 24-hour quiet policy. Because of this, my usual system is going to stay at home, and I'm looking for a decent 2.0 system to take with me that I can attach to my computer. Thanks to other expenses my total budget is only around $100, but since I'm mainly using the speakers to watch TV audio fidelity isn't as important as for music, and I always have my Grado's for when I want to crank it up 😀 Anyways, can someone point me in the right direction?

Go to the college surplus store and see if they have anything. I picked up a nice set of speakers for $15 at IU.

I'm actuially willing to spend a little money here to get something that doesn't sound like crap though . . .

My surplus store speakers cost $2.99, canadian 🙂

If you're forced to play at very low volume, and you want good quality, I would spend the $100 on headphones. In my experience, very low volume and high-fidelity don't mix well.
