1Tb internal HDD

Is 1Tb internal hard disk high failure rate these days, better to get two 500Gb HDDs ?
Is 1Tb HDD failure related with the rpm ? Which rpm less failure ?
What about the failure rate of 1Tb SATAIII...
😱

the failure rate is higher with drives like the WD green drives due to their constant spinning down then up. most any 1TB non-eco non-green drive will be fine for you though. i recommend a samsung spinpoint f3 drive if you can find them where you are.

SATA3 is useless for mechanical drives and should not even be a consideration when choosing a new HDD.
