I hope it turns out well. Turkey is one of my favorite dinners. Probably because there are turkey sandwiches for like a week after. Although I imagine your turkey will be pretty interesting, if not tasty.

and i have/can cook ham (since its already cooked, i also call it re-heating )

Just buy a turkey with a popup button. When the button pops up, it's done. I like the whiskey idea though.

I'm asian. The closest thing I've come to roasting a turkey is making Pking duck.
