Wasn't the biggest fan of the first film, but this looks pretty good from the trailer.

Looks pretty hot. I'm interested in seeing how they balance it all out with the 3 villains, but that is one hell of a trailer.

I don't get it--is he fighting Lion Voltron, the Emperor, and the Green Goblin?

Did Patton Oswalt write this script? :hmm:

Unfortunately, but maybe they'll get it right this time around?

that shit works for comic books, that develops these series over years and months, with the villains likely having long-established back stories. Consider that those big team of villain fight series last 6 or more issues or so...that's what, 6 months? or are they all bi-monthly now?

It's terrible for a 2 hour film.

So what is more annoying, lense flare or slow down during action sequences?

Is it me or have they overpowered Spiderman? He's dodging machine gun fire and is catching falling cars? Not quite Superman level stuff, but it's heading in that direction.

Spiderman was always a pretty tough dude. He is a top tier Marvel hero. His combined agility and strength is his greatest physical attribute.

EDIT: Spiderman is rated at 20 tons.

And the new villain costumes aren't doing for me. Rhino and Electro's original costumes were kinda perfect.

There was Cosmic Spiderman at one point...he was like, stronger than Galactus.

Trailers are supposed to make the movie look good. Hopefully, they'll do a better job this time around. Don't think anyone wants to wait for Sony to finish all 4 AS movies, each worst than the last.

The CG used for spiderman in the action sequences seem awfully noticeable and poorly done. Hopefully they polish it up by release time.

Ive watched it again and still feel pretty meh about it. The fight scene with Electro looks cool, but it doesn't make me want to drop everything and see it.

Will admit that poster series looks awesome though.

I thought it was okay until I saw the scene with Spider-Man and the manhole cover. I think people just forget that objects in the real world are hardly perfect (they're "lived in"), and CG tends to look too shiny and new at times. I also thought the scene at the end with Spider-Man and Electro jumping between... things... looked way too fake.

Of course, it isn't much of a surprise that the Legion of Fans on IGN didn't care for me calling out the poor CGI. :p C'mon... when you see better CGI on The CW's Arrow, you know something is wrong! :p

i wouldn't call electro's original costume "perfect".. more like... childish

Marvel is going more "ultimate universe" with it's movies, than 616-universe
