$150? That's almost the price of a Nexus 7 😛

just put it on ebay as-is and use the funds as a down-payment for the latest shiny ipad
 
Man, a first gen iPad? I'd say it's about that time to upgrade anyway. I'd just get an iPad 4 (or you can wait for the 5), or just get a mini. Either one would be MUCH better than your first gen iPad.

I wouldn't dump $150 on fixing an old iPad. Just put the funds toward a nice new one. 🙂
 
Definitely eBay as is, mentally allocate the funds you would have spent fixing it plus what you got for it on eBay toward a new one and it'll be half off 😉
