~1kw PSU recommendation

I'm looking to go for a tri-fire rig when the 7xxx series comes out. I would wait till I saw some performance figures/power requirements, but my corsair 850 has developed a nasty fan rattle. So I am looking to replace it and move it to another machine where noise isn't an issue.

I'm aiming for at least 1kw of power. I want a quality PSU because its potential future will be filled with supplying 3 top end cards running at 100% load for extended periods of time.

I ask because tracking down what oem of the built the platform that was repackaged of a lot of the PSUs is a painful adventure.

So what >=1kw PSUs should I look into?

If you can find an Enermax Revolution 1050W PSU in good shape, you should grab it. Got a 9.7 at Jonny Guru. I just picked one up to replace my 800W BFG for trifire.

If you can find a deal on either a BFG EX-1000 or EX-1200, they are pretty darned good PSUs.

For trifire I'd get Antec HCP-1200. Trifire already costs so much so why not pay the extra for the best PSU around. Check out HardOCP's review:

Prior to today's launch of the Antec High Current Pro 1200W (HCP-1200), the Corsair AX1200 ruled the roost as the best 1200W unit on the market. After taking in to account the excellent build quality, the outstanding voltage regulation, outstanding efficiency, and outstanding DC Output Quality results we begin to see a pattern where the HCP-1200 edges out the AX1200 on just about every front. Even when it comes down the Transient Load Testing, which has tripped up many high quality units, we see the HCP-1200 coming up as clearly the best 1200W unit we have seen to date.

The only downside is that it comes with 5-year warranty instead of 7 for AX1200; but some places sell HCP-1200 for slightly lower price.
