"Yeah... but it's a PC Chips board."
Here's a review of the K7S5A:

I think PcChips has a somewhat undeserved reputation. Yes, there was the one board with the fake L2 cache. (I've got one and it still works). Yes their web site is pretty much useless. But the computer I'm using right now is has a PcChips mobo. It is rock stable and was very inexpensive. >>
"Though Elitegroup usually targets the low cost and OEM market, this motherboard should be suitable for most users."
Yeah... Should be....
ANY review, including the one's I write, should be taken with a grain of salt.
1. A board shipped to a review site is a sample that has been through thorough quality control before it's shipped. You wouldn't want to ship a dead board to a review site.
2. You can't pan a motherboard completely or you may never get another review product from that company and you certainly won't get linked from their site.
3. Most people that do reviews don't work in an environment where they are exposed to a large volume of product. I worked for a wholesaler (not wholesale to the public, but real wholesale. The guys who supply the PC Chips boards to the public) just over 3 years ago. PC Chips had a high RMA rate back then. Where I work now, we quit selling PC Chips after I was here for two years, because of their high RMA rate. I'm still good friends with a person that does return to manufacturer for that distributor I worked for. He says half of his day is spent testing bad PC Chips boards. FYI: That distributor also sells MSI, Asus and DFI.
I'm sure you have a good ECS board. MOST of them are good in ever way shape and form (remember what the definition of MOST is, though).
But PC Chips doesn't have an undeserved reputation. Trust me, they earned it.
