Seems like a pretty good deal to me. It's a PIII not a Celeron. Wonder how good KDS Laptops are? I had a 19" KDS Trinitron monitor and it was great.

KDS si junk and the cpu is desktop not mobile, so you'd better put some ice on your lap when you are using it ;-)

The description clearly states a Intel PIII Mobile chip and I quote, "Intel 1 GHz Pentium III Mobile processor." Please make sure to include correct info. Pretty good deal. I thankyou as I'm in the market for a notebook. Keep them coming, guys.

well in goalshot's defense...

i've ordered a kds lappy before... and while it performed well... and was cheap...
it overheated beyond your imagination.

of course, i had to return them, and it was a pain in the butt.

i do hope these are mobile pentiums... for your lap's sake.

i have no idea what the engineers were thinking with the older lappies...
using desktop cpus.

if anyone gets these...
please let us know how they've improved.
