guys its a deal.

y r u guys care if its big or not
It's only a deal because it's so big and undesirable.

Some people who carry tech around all the time are concerned with size and weight.

Just like you can get big bulky laptops with faster components for cheaper than smaller form factor laptops with slower components, but some people still prefer the smaller ones for the convenience.

man crowd is picky man i would buy the thing and sell it for 10 bucks more

Its between this and the Radio Shack deal on the 512 drive on Tuesday. Since there's no guarantee RS will have them or that my local store will participate in the clearance, I'm inclined to jump on this deal. I buy from OM a lot anyhow, and size always matters, even if the girls swear it doesn't. Gimme the extra 512mb, baby !!

Went to my local OM and they had plenty in stock, but for the FULL $99 price !!! This is the first time in a while that a website price beats a BM price. Since no one was within 50 yards of me, I didn't bug any store employees, but it isn't like I have proof that the website is (was) selling them for $40.

Worse yet is when you try to get a B&M store to honor the price listed on their web site, and, even if the price doesn't say "online only", the B&M store personnel give you some song&dance that the store isn't connected to the web site, and that they are seperate companies. I don't know how they get off from lying to customers like that, it seems as though that is actually corporate policy from what I can tell.
