My first time actually posting in the "hot deals" section, so please be gently. 😛 I've been lurking and using the finds posted here for years though.

I was looking for a deal on the usual deal sites for an HD4870 with 1GB memory today and didn't find anything special. So I thought I would share the results of my scouring the net for the best price from a reputable company. Just in case someone else is in the market right now for this card:

http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php...98f80d12eb4fb12bd7da6c

This doesn't appear to be a "published" price because if you look the part number up on the site it comes back with a $184 price tag. However, shipping of almost $10 for me put the price right back where it came from. lol I guess I can at least consider it free shipping in my case on an item I would have bought on price anyway.

Could be truly hot if someone has an appropriate ewiz/Super Biiz code...

These cards are getting into my price range now. $170.98 today plus $10.xx UPS ground to my area. Thanks for the post.

Hmmm probably not, i just saw the 4890 for $189 shipped ar ac. S'all good though, we should be expecting the 4870s to go down anyway

You could probably use that same '20bunny' or whatever code on this which would make this a decent deal. I'd still get a 4890 though.

eck, apparently not everything qualifies. It is down to 170 now though.
