Try hooking a CD burner up to your PDA

I have the same question as Seatidex. Most Flash readers only denote support for 512MB max. So i'm wondering if you need a seperate flash reader to support it? Even if you do, 20$ for a seperate reader isn't bad either.

This place is also selling 1GB CF as well. FYI.

The reason why most readers say that the only support 512MB max is b/c there weren't any 1GB CompactFlash memory cards until recently. 1GB Microdrives have been around for a while, but not flash memory cards of that size.

So you couldn't really support something that hadn't been released yet 😉

I knew that B, i was just wondering if they were backward compatible with the older readers. Now if they only made 1GB SD cards. 🙂

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet, I'd be all over a 1GB SD card 😀 As for being compatible with older readers, I don't see why not. If they can read microdrives, 1GB CF cards shouldn't be a problem

would that be a 1x burner or a 50x burner? 😀

i have/had a sandisk 80mb that i got from od... man i love/loved that card... it has been
dropped
stomped
drowned (in a puddle of liquor)
baked (left in car in july)
and went twice with me to tokyo and back
the only complaint i have is that it's so small, i [hopefully] lost it in my nastyasp apt
thanks for the headsup. if my last car payment wasn't this month, i'd be all over it...
