Yeah, I was going to buy one but then I realized that it would become a HUGE money sink once I started buying the accessories I couldn't be without.

yea stick to the games. laptops better for video, encoding and buying memory too much trouble. buy 2more cards and you've bought an ipod mini😛
 
Still waiting for mine. Why cancel? I'm just gonna keep waiting until I get mine -- unless the prices suddenly drop and I can get it cheaper elsewhere. Then I'll cancel.
 
Mine was supposed to be shipped out today 4/22 and hadnt received any notification. Well I just received one. It says they are experiencing an unsuspecting delay and now it wont be shipped until or before 4/29 🙁
 
Yep, I just got the email from Dell:

"We have reviewed your order. Although we had anticipated being able to ship your order sooner, we are experiencing an unexpected delay with your order and will not be able to ship this order and any associated orders until on or before 04-29-2005."

This really sucks, but there's not much to do I guess, since everyone else is out of stock too.

Very nice. My ETA is 4/25, so we'll see what happens with those of us with that ETA when the day rolls by. If they give me one of those delayed further emails, I'll also see if I can get my shipping knocked off, since I paid for 2-day express.

Those bastages DID push back the order date. That really makes me mad, and I think they have been misleading. new date: 4/29/2005

is there any other current deals, because I would gladly cancel this one if there is another card in stock. Also do they charge your card when u order or when they ship?

EDIT: I was just looking at the thread about the 1gb duo at Mwave (which is also OOS) and their site said they expected stock 5-15! I hope Dell isn't going to keep pushing back the ship date on this.
 
This deal has been dead for awhile, and I don't know if this is a repost but sonystyle has these for $134 shipped free - not as hot, but still cheap.

Just got the delayed-til-May 2nd email. I went to go to Dell live chat, and for some reason it told me that I wasn't a home or home office member, so I could not use live chat, when I was using it just several days ago. What a bunch of bullcrap. So, I fired them an email telling them I'd like for them to waive my shipping charges for making me wait so long, else I want my order canceled.

Just called SonyStlye. even though this product is listed on their webpage, it won't be available til June 05.

Also if you try and add it to cart, you get a message...Not Available.
