I can get a really good price on this through a friend but I'm wondering if I should pick this ram up? I have an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe with PC2100 1GB ram right now. I could easily sell my PC2100 and pay only a few bucks for this 1GB. Is it any good? I'm guessing anything is better than my PC2100.
 
I've got GeIL Value RAM in two NF7-S systems (rev 1.2 and 2.0) and it works just fine, and in dual channel mode. Don't expect much more than the rated speed though.
 
I have the dual channel 1gb kit, works fine for me, but yeah, I can only get about 18mhz over stock on these chips at 2.5-8-4-4.

Depends; what bus speed does your CPU run at?

And what's the price on these babies? There might be better deals out there.
