car was just bought... it came with a key (has a sensor anti theft chip in it) and had two more keys made.
This "seemed" to only happen with the new keys (both of them..) but I'm not sure.. cause it stopped happening all of the sudden
basically 15 or 20 minutes after starting the car (while driving) the gauges get stuck in wierd places... like the gas gauge on empty, speedo at 95mph, tach at 2000 rpm, and temp sensor all the way at H.
after pulling over, and starting and restarting the car they were still stuck. Then, with the original key in it, the gauges reset themselves to normal all the sudden.
any ideas? This happened twice. Both times were with the new key(s).... and it reset with the old key in it.. but that might be random
