For some odd reason i really love this car. Last year of that gigantic, sexy 60's styling and the first year of the massive 8.2 liter engine. 😀

One of the descriptions on collector car trader says front wheel drive. In the pics the engine is aligned for rear drive, and surely with 400 HP and 550 ft-lbs of torque they made it rear drive?!

Yeah, this was back before SAE changed to net ratings instead of gross however. Though they are still incredibly torquey engines. Yes the are FWD and not transverse mounted. By the way OP you're going to need to run at least 91 octane in this car, and with a 26 gallon tank, this gets old incredibly fast. Be prepared to spend upwards of 100-150 bucks a week on gas if you drive regularly.

Nah, this would just be a "fun" car. I saw a '69 at a car auction a couple years ago and fell in love....
