1920x1200 laptop

Can anyone recommend a good laptop which has this resolution supported?

Gateway FX line seems to have quite a fan base.

Even if its not a gaming laptop, I'd recommend an LCD 17" or larger as 1920 on smaller LCD may be too fine a resolution for desktop usage.

ummmm....has anyone ever seen a laptop that supports 1920x1200...i think you would need at least a 24 in. screen to get that resolution. So yeah i would think AT LEAST a 17 in. but more like at least a 24" screen. I dont think there are too many laptops out there with 24" screens.

All major manufacturers sell 17" laptops with that resolution. And not just for gaming. Where have you been over the past 2-3 years?

there are even 15.4" laptops with 1920x1200 resolution.

Yes I've heard of these 15.4? laptops too. I've also heard that they come bundled with magnifying glasses.

they would definitely need em...kind of pointless for that resolution with that size monitor. Even a 22 in. monitor @ 1680 x 1050 is more than enough.

Maybe you have only desktop monitors in mind? 1920x1200 is a bit hard to see on a 15.4" notebook, but on a 17" it is perfect. Remember that with a notebook you generally sit much closer to the LCD than when you are using a desktop.

And as something that is actually on-topic, I agree with chizow. Check out BB to get some hands-on with the Gateway FX notebooks; they are very good.
