Jumped on this deal at the last minute. Worked well for me. Expected delivery 7/8/02. Upgrading from a Gateway 2000 Vivitron 1776 from 1995. Apparently, this monitor is worth the upgrade. Hope to score a "korean". Thank you!

Update as of Saturday 6/29: Staples called me and said they were "out of stock" and so would have to cancel my order. I tried arguing, but the person was a real hard ass. I immediately called the order line and placed another order - the stock seemed to be no problem, PM & coupon OK. I just called in today to check my order status and it seems OK. Anyone else had this kind of BS from Staples?

Naw... it's a far cry from the original post. 230 after rebate. If anyone does not manage to get monitor here, you can probably try pricewatch. I think you'll probably be able to find a price less than $200.

Hey, Got a question on the rebate. Samsung says it expires on June 31, but at Best Buy and CompUSA they have the monitor with a $50 MIR that expires on July 31st. I just bought the monitor from staples, 202.48 after PM+Coupon, and would love to use the MIR for a total of 152.48. Anybody know where I can get the rebate that expires July 31st? If not any suggestions as to what to do? Thanks in advance!

When i bought my 955df from DELL a few months ago, i used a CompUSA $50 rebate. The rebate form didn't specify that the "monitor shouldn't be purchased from an e-tailer".
I think the check i got came from TCA rebates.

I got the monitor today I'm happy with it other than I am having a hard time using the controls to find a good setting, the monitor seems to look always trapezoidal of pincush like any tips would be appreciated.

Hmmm, I checked the rebate on the best buy website because I thought of it a few days ago and it said that the rebate was good for the purchase at best buy. I'll check a register print out of it tomorrow morning and get back to you guys in the afternoon.
