Received mine this afternoon and hooked it up tonight. It looks nice but there is a 1.5" green area in the lower right corner of the screen. I will call Viewsonic to see if it's correctable.

It's based on AG technology like SONY's so I can see 2 horizontal lines. Is AG equal to Trinitron? Great buy only if mine does not have the green area...

Thanks for the tip. The total price would be $265...

cpliu,

Dig around in the manual and look up the "purity" setting. If the monitor is OK some purity tweaking should fix it the corner right up.

I have yet to set up any 19" or larger monitor without having to resort to "massaging" the settings.

Enjoy!

frazzled,
You're correct. Play with purity on that corner fix the problem. Appreciate a lot for your help.

Great monitor....

If Staples over charge you, you can always talk to your credit card company to get it back, right? Last time my Bank of American visa credit card was used by a guy from FL. He bought a motherboard and used $300 dollars. I immediately notified my credit card company, and they finally agree to pay the loss. I am not sure if the online store paid it or the credit card company paid it. Now I'd like to use Amex/discover single-use credit card or webcertificate.

Got mine yesterday. It kicks ass. No problem with staples, they billed my card $307. I'll do the rebate on monday for another $50 off.

Not bad

:| I had the same problem with that Mohammed!!!

He pissed me off with the same kind of questions, except I called about the Crucial 256MB PC133 memory. He gave me the runaround for 40 minutes.

if ( $staples_csr eq "Mohammed" ) {
exit;
}
