19" NEC FP950 monitor: anyone used or recommend it?

Prototype

I can get it for a really good price ($299 CND), but I've never really heard anything about it.

Specs: 1920x1440 0.25 AG.
Virtually Flat Screen
Mitsubishi Diamondtron

I'd be using it for graphics and video editing.
Thanks for any help.

Oh yah, my other choice is a Dell 19" Trinitron...which is a $100 CDN less.
So I guess I'm wondering if the NEC is worth the extra $$$.

Bear in mind that both of these are off-lease refurbs.
Another refurb option is the Viewsonic PF790 at factorydirect.ca for CDN330.

NEC/Mitsubishi make the best in my opinion only second to Sony's high end models.. which are overprised if you ask me.

Samsung makes excellent monitors too such as the NF series.

If you don't mind me asking where is it on sale for a good price like that?

It's refurbised from www.canadamonitors.com

Well, I instead got a Dell 19" Trinitron because the store that had them was closer to me. And I'm very disappointed. It's giving me blurred text...so I guess I'm gonna take it back.

I saw those refurbs also. The NEC one is discontinued off their site. But for 300, that's a bargain. It's the "Proffesional" version of the 950.
