All right folks ... ordered the VP930b about an hour ago from ZZF. Needed something to get my mind off how bad the Steelers were doing tonight.

What can you tell me about this monitor? Is it a TN panel? Does it ghost at all in games? How does it compare to the VP930b?

Ok guys, it came today.

Display is beautiful. Great recommendation. Thanks.

I have a pixel stuck on red in the lower right corner about 2 inches up from the bottom and about 4 inches in from the right. Kind of annoying. I tried massaging the pixel with no luck. I saw there was software that could help by rapidly chaning the colors on the screen. However, it was for Mac OS X. Are there any other suggestions?

This puts my Dell Trinitron CRT to shame though. I wish my laptop looked this good. I'm using the Dell as a secondary monitor in a dual display.

Is the LCD Control software with Perfect Portrait worth installing? What does it do?

Thanks,

Super

here is a very useful tool to find the monitors that have certain specs (like paneltype for instance)
http://www.prad.de/en/guide/ausstattung_auswahl.html

this link is useful when you want to compare specs of different models:

they have a great forum too, but if u go there u need to be able to read german (or use the google translator and prepare for yoda text)

here are some good reviews concerning fast screens (mostly tn panel screens tho :/) :
