I can't speak about the quality of this monitor - but damn it's a good deal. It's a GEM monitor and the rebate goes directly to them...

Edit: The price before rebate is $389 - it's a $90 rebate.

Must be popular. They're currently out of stock, expecting more on 11/19. The good thing is the rebate is good thru 12/31. :)

I have had this monitor for over a year now and it is decent. I got it from Fry's for $500 -$50 mir. About 3 months after I bought it I discovered two dead pixels so I sent it to Scansoft, they sent me a new unit which has been working great since then and 0 dead pixels. It may not be a good monitor for gamers, I don't play games so I can't tell.

I think that for the price I may consider getting it for a second system.

Ok, so I went to the website and they claim:

15ms rising and 10 ms falling response time...

Did they all actually go to eCost? I got one of those Syntax 802.11b USB adapters (the white ones with the elbow) and the rebate came no problem. But I think it was direct from Syntax. Purchase was through eCost.
