Newegg is $351.00.

He is probably referring to the overall price. No tax at Newegg unless you live in NJ or CA, so after shipping and taxes on the WalMart monitor I imagine that the prices are pretty close. At least that is what I think he meant 🙂.

500:1 contrast, mine is 600:1 (average)

1280x1024 max, that's pathetic for 19", mine does 1600x1200 (average)

i don't think this is worth $300, personally i'd prefer to get a better 17" than a crappy 19" like this.

If you look on NewEgg, you will see that they do not sell any 19" LCD monitor with a resolution other than 1280 X 1024, so you can't really call it "pathetic". Its standard.

1600x1200 is to small for a 19" for most folks, it would be stupid to make one. and if you run it at any other rez. it will be jacked up looking. not to mention games at 1600x1200.

Yeah I think there are some people who might have had a little too much crack for lunch, 600:1 and 1600x1200 are by no means average.
