Unless I'm reading it it wrong , website rebates say $30 off 9bi and the $70 one is for 9b. Not sure you can get both?

Office Depot instore specials list it as $97.38 after rebates. thru Jan 31

I believe both the monitors use the same item number.

I, too, am wondering if there will be a problem with the $30 rebate that says it's for a 9bi. Or if there will be a problem for the $70 rebate if we are sent the 9b. I just ordered by phone so may call them back to see. Anyone have any more information on this? I know rebate houses are pretty strict on qualifying and wondering if this will be a big problem. thanks

update: I called OD customer service and she said there will be no problem. She said if there is, to call them back! She tried to explain that the OD $70 rebate is actually for the 9bi and they just don't have that in the item description (and subsequently on their rebate form). So it looks like we'll be getting the 9bi monitor....even tho i've read that the 9b is a better monitor.

Got one yesterday. Can't say I am all that impressed with the text quality even at the recommended 1024*768@75hz. Anything higher had noticable blurring on the text. The edges of the picture are not geometrical. I had been working on a 3 1/2 yr old 19" KDS that is still going decent except I had to keep the refresh @60 to get the best picture out of it. I have a couple of weeks before I have to do the mail in/return to OD to decide if it is good enough. Looks pretty good so far on games. I do have it on a KVM that does the slightest bit of ghosting on the left plane about 1/4 way in which is, of course, where most text ends up.

I just went to OD to get the KDS XF-9b. They were out of stock so they tried to order one, but the supply computer said it was on low supply. SO, they let me purchase the monitor so I can get the rebate (ends in 2 days), then they will call me as soon as they get one.

Also, their supply computer said it was $199, but their display model said $167, so I got it for $167 with a $70 rebate. Now I'm just hoping they recieve one.

And I checked their floor model, it was a XF-9b, not 9bi. I mentioned this to them, and they said if I recieve a 9bi they will refund my money.
