PCClub.com has a 19" Flat Screen Monitor for $299.99, no rebates or anything, with a dot pitch of .20! The max resolution is 1600x1200 @ 85Hz (I think). Looks like a great deal to me...
Heres the link

If you see a better deal for a monitor thats similar or better than this one, post it here! :)

MAG Innovision make decent monitors. They use other manufacturer's tubes. I'm on one of theirs right now, Its a 17" thats lasted me 5 years now.

is this gonna be the composite dot pitch, or is it the kind of hype that only lists the horizontal dot pitch to make it sound more refined? I'm not an expert on monitors, so that may be a stupid question, but let us know the answer if applicable. Thanks

naw, can't be the diagonal (or whatever) dot pitch, probably like .25 at least.

waste of money if you ask me...

i'd rather get the samsung 955df anyday... thats even w/out the difference in price. for 300 you can get an AG... aperture grille is the way to go, baby...

cdw had a compaq 19" AG for 290+s/h a while back... wonder if they still have it. that monitor kicks this one's behind and then goes to its house and beats up its parents as well. it has dual inputs and a built in monitor switch, its trinitron, almost concave looking, and well... its so bright its amazing.

if you still want a flat square monitor, dell has some nec's that are flat square but again, i wouldn't recommend it.

this deal's colder than your mamma's bed... get the compaq for this much, or get the 955df and a decent video card, or save some money and get just the 955df...

This monitor has a higher refresh rate at 1600x1200 than the 955DF, 85 vs 60. I think the tube is made by Panasonic (I might be wrong). Best Buy used to carry this monitor and I was considering buying it, when they stopped carrying it altogether.
