First off, NEVER BUY FROM TIGERDIRECT!!! They screw people over bigtime!

Looks almost identical to my Planar. Specs are the same too except for the number of USB ports. Interesting.

I mean not only on paper, how is it in reality?

I think that 1280X1024 is ok for me. BUT how is the responding time. any ghosting during games or DVD play back?
I am using 8500

The response time looks good. You shouldnt see any ghosting. My 15" has a 25ms response time and no ghosting here.

You might want to check out the LCDs at esystor.com, they have some decent deals. Got my Hyundai L70A from them, great LCD for $525

If I'm going to spend $1,000, I'm not going to get someone's crusty old refurbished unit... The specs are kinda crappy too, .31mm is not that fine, .26mm is better...

I say stick with the envision 7100e 17" for $515 shipped, much better bang for the buck... Or else get the Sceptre 23" 1600X1200 panel for $2500, that's a phatty LCD!
