If you are going the spa route, get her a massage....they're about $65+ an hour, but she'll thank you. You could always do the couples massage too and enjoy it together.

Day at the spa. Then head to a nice dinner. After that a night at a fancy hotel. You know the rest.

well, if she's moving into her own place now to start a job, or begin grad school -- take her furniture shopping :) but be prepared to commit an entire day (10+ hours) in a place like ikea. not for the faint of heart, nor the thin walleted.

if you mean to give her something on the spot for when she gets off the podium or later that night during dinner:

college grad: electronic device will do fine- ipod, digital camera, laptop

grad school: nice piece of jewelry (i.e. 2 ct (1 per ear) earrings, good cut/clarity), maybe a new dress, dinner out, and a night on the town?

...or, like someone i know: you can turn HER graduation into a night about YOU, and steal her thunder and ruin her memories by freaking out about how you feel like the two of you have been growing distant and need some time off.
