fingerprints?

I took a close look at the hand print, and it's more of smeared greasy print. I'm not sure what I could do with that, but I'm definitely not washing my car anytime soon ;)

Believe me, the cops will do JACK as far as taking or running prints in a situation like this. :(

Hate to be mean...but I am glad that they got a BROKEN lawnmower...the dang thieves!

Maybe since it wasn't working, you will find it in an abandoned field or something nearby. Good luck...cuz that so sucks! :(

EDIT: Had a typo...oops!

Do not call the cops until they have had a chance to use your gas.

Better yet, fill it full of gasoline, but poke a hole in the bottom. After they walk off, light up your end of the trail, and watch the fireworks! :D

You really didn't have to put race into the equation of your stolen lawn mower. Mexicans are people too.

Okay, let's start taking out adjectives from all of our sentences, let's see how bland and non-specific all conversation and writing becomes.
were they waving a mexican flag? how do you know they weren't spanish?

One easy way to tell is that Spanish don't look like Mexicans.

Except for the fact that it was the Spaniards that came to Mexico and started reproducing like jackrabbits. Not all Mexicans look the same.

What prevents it from draining out before they even get there

At least it was a broken lawnmower.

Go to your neighbor's house and steal all his copper plumbing.

Do you suppose if our government was to allow removing hands that were used for thievery, it would send a message?

Just remember that any money they get from that mower (working or not) is going directly to their families in Mexico.

As for someone above saying a Mexican will fix the mower............ Just think about the 3 Stooges, but 10 times less mechanically enclined with their tounges sticking out while they think and all the while telling you how macho they are!

All the Mexicans I know are as Smart as a box of rocks and have no clue on anything mechanical.

Except for the fact that they mixed with the native people and those people still make the bulk of the poor population that is likely to migrate to the US.

as has been said way more than needed, who cares if they were Mexicans, freakin skum thieves is what they are.

and you should tell you neighbor so when he pays them he gives them less than agreed on and says consider my neighbor's lawn mower as part of your pay. as if he would, but it would be some just desserts for the lowlives.

The goal of any theif is to not get caught, so no, it wouldn't send a message until the person gets caught.

That, and it would send the message that is already sent out to theives... if you're rich you can just do community service and keep your hands.

Hey, thanks for the reminder... time to take all the old copper from my basement to the scrap yard :)

Shoot me some ideas, both legal and illegal, as I'm dying to fsck one of these punks up.

Edit: Since so many of you like to take any opportunity to start a flamewar, let me clearly state that I do not have a problem with Mexicans. I am simply stating who the thieves were, and what they did. However, I do have a problem with Mexicans that steal my lawnmower

SHENS!
Your grammar and spelling are correct though. This correctness shows a little too much attention to detail for someone upset with having something stolen from implied "greasy" mexicans. This post appears to be trolling based on the current political climate.

I have never known a Mexican to steal anything in the Chicago area and I have lived among them for years. What part of the country is this where Mexicans are considered as thieves?

:disgust: These comments are barbaric and uncalled for. Both of these comments surprise me since other posts made by each of you, MX2times and moshquerade, have been in better taste and were more appreciated.

It surprises me this thread has not been locked.

Sorry if I offended you, but thats exactly how thieves need to be dealt with. Would be much more difficult to steal other peoples belongings without hands.

After they come back to finish their drywall work, follow them to their house when they leave your neighbors. If you see your lawnmower, snatch it. If not, well at least you know where they live.
