Need to upgrade my ram badly. Ive seen there's a 8gb sniper 1866 kit on newegg for cheap and they also have a 4gb 1600 kit. Which one should I choose or should I just go with something else? About to overclock my 955be and I want something worthy because it will be transferred to an Intel system before August

Why the 1.65V kit? As you know, SB works best with 1.5V kits and is spec'd for that. Plenty of 1.5V 1866 kits out there now.

Why? Should you also take the 1866 kit if you're not overclocking it? AFAIK the 1866 kit wont offer that much more performance...

Pretty much unnoticible difference in a SB rig anywhere outside of a benchmark specifically designed to read RAM speed. But heh if it is around the same price why the hell not :D
