186.18 Nvidia Driver

Nvidia released the certified 186.18 driver today. I didn't like the 185.85 driver and went back to the 182.50. Maybe somebody can give these a try and report back. I'm afraid to try them, but my feeling is they will be pretty good based on some good feedback from the 186.08 beta drivers.

Well, I tried the beta version with the same results as the 185. Which means I had to roll back to the latest 182 driver.

Thanks for the heads up lets hope these are not like the 185.85 or else I feel a lot of people are going to be angry.

I'll stick with the 182's for now, my lanbox (8800GTS 512) seriously freaked out when I tried the 185's. At this point I'll let someone else beta test nvidia's drivers for me.

I've been running the 185.85 drivers along with the new physX drivers for Cryostasis and the only problems that I've had with them is that my monitor flicker's every now and then.

I'll wait until I hear more on these 186.18 WHQL driver's

the 185.85 gave a nice performance boost over the 182.08s .. but it appeared unstable for some users.

the new 186.18 drivers are good - pretty stable for me; but then i had no issues with 185.85 either [my issues with Source engine was unrelated]
- overall there is slight performance increases with the new ones

i haven't tried them on my notebook's GeForce 8200M yet; 185s are great

To scared to try the 186.08 WHQL now. People have reported having the same problem with the Source game flashes though.

I may try sooner or later. The 190 sound interesting though but I know there beta.

Yeah I been hearing a lot of good things about the 190.15 drivers. Just hate that they are betas. May wait until we get official 190 drivers. Though I hear image quality is improved a lot with them.
