The "why was this thread locked" type threads are always locked. If you have a question like this, you are best off PMing a Mod.

edit: you were probably best off PMing a Mod about the problems in the other thread, instead of posting a thread about it.

I don't know why it was locked, Unfortunatly my telepathic link to the mod hive mind is broken so I can't read their thoughts, but generally it isn't a good idea to post a "why was this locked" thread here. If you have a question for the Moderators you can Always PM them their account is AnandTech Moderator so politely shoot them a PM or E-mail and they will most likely give you a good answer.

Honestly, the anandtech moderator account encompasses like 7-10 regular posters who decide to moderate people. Only one of them truly knows why it was locked. Generally, posting a thread asking why their previous thread was locked will instantly get the subsequent thread locked and the OP possible put on a temp. vacation. Hope this helps.
