Do you know what a check is? It is a piece of paper with numbers written on it. What magical properties do you think it has that would make the ones you found in the trash worth something, as opposed to just going home and printing up your own???

Either way, anything you do with it is fraud - and don't worry, Johnny Law will be happy to go after you for that one. Honesty is the only thing that makes the whole check system work.
