He won't have a chance to be shanked by a CHAV or thrown into jail for thoughtcrime. I'm sure he's heartbroken.

🙁

Actually to be fair the second would never happen because the US says "jump" and the UK says "how high". I don't think we've ever extradited a US national to the UK, but the reverse has happened several times.

Ooookay then...

You can get thrown into internet jail sometimes for some P&N things though 😛

Good thing this is OT.

My favorite trump gif. 😀

Yeah I dunno wtf is up with his hair. I think it's just a troll at this point. No way he can actually think that looks good.

I kinda want Trump to win. Let's face it, the government as a whole is a corrupt piece of crap no matter who makes it in. May as well be entertained.

Our government is almost just as bad here in Canada. We got rid of Harper, and things arn't really any better or heading that way other than maybe pot being legalized. They still want to sign the TPP, there's still tons of job losses every day, our economy is going to crap, they're not repealing any of the bad stuff Harper did etc... Still glad we got rid of Harper though... I'm sure Trudeau is really trying to make things better, but like any leader he'll just get strung along by corporate greed and corruption. That's always what happens no matter how great a leader sounds during their campaign.

people like to use trump as an example of America's idiocy but what about Sanders? Those criticizing Trump have no right to act like Sanders isn't a completely unqualified dolt whose entire platform and experience revolves around taxes and free shit to undeserving poor people. Yes free college, like we don't have enough professional students anyhow!

aside from the global warming thing, what good is Trudeau going to do for Cananda? Trudeau is like Canada's obama..

Sanders was a WAY better candidate. He was kind of like Mulcair here. He actually wanted to fight for the people, and his main goals were oriented to help the people. I don't get why people feel that if they vote 3rd party they are throwing their vote away. If people stopped thinking they HAVE to vote one of the two, we would perhaps finally elect someone that cares.

That's because Sanders was a useful idiot for both sides. To Republicans, he represented a wedge to drive between moderate Democrats and far-left college kids. To Democrats, he was initially a problem but then became a tool to exploit and energize against the greater enemy, Trump. Neither side could hit him too hard. Unlike Trump, Sanders actually had some good points and showings during the debate (like the Henry Kissinger beat-down), so it's still not a fair comparison, but I agree that he's still a populist hack with pie-in-the-sky solutions for the most part.

Candidate yes. He likely would have fared better vs. Trump in the general election than Hilarious did, though I'm not sure if he could have won against Trump or not.

Not likely he would make for a great president though. His economic plan did not pass the smell test. He didn't provide any way to actually pay for all that he promised. He did little more than tell people what they wanted to hear, a populist.
