In their clearance section, they have silver UV-reactive Vastech brand SATA cables for $0.49 ea, plus shipping. I ordered 100 of them. :)
I'll probably be giving them away in the freebies thread two years from now, but what the heck.

Edit: they also have the VC-RE on sale. http://www.svc.com/vc-re.html

Edit: Guess no-one is interested? They're still showing 99 in stock, which is what it was showing after I purchased my 100.

Note: These are SATA I cables, not SATA II. Might work OK with SATA II but aren't rated for it.

but the $8.40 shipping on 10 of them makes it not so smoking....

Still way better than Newegg. I went to Newegg, looked at their 18" SATA cables, and found one that listed "volume discount". It was like $1.50 per cable, if you bought 5+, and still over $2 and change for shipping, per cable.

So $0.84 shipping per cable is actually relatively cheap.

I got in on this last year or so, when they were the UV green ones. I think I ordered 50 of them or something like that, and I now have maybe 2 left, LOL!

I already have like 8 billion sata cables from all the random stuff I buy. If I was still into case modding the UV ones would be cool.

Actually those aren't even required in the SATAII specs.

There's no difference between SATAI and SATAII cables only eSATA has a little different specs.

I've quit buying cheap stuff from SVC because of the way they ratchet up the shipping charges on multiples.

I'm sure the labor costs for the order pickers and packers is the same for 1 or 2 cables and their actual shipping costs are the same as well. They use shipping charges as a profit center and as a way to hide the true cost of their sale prices.

I've only bought in bulk from svc.com, and from my perspective, their shipping charges are fair. They are a lot more fair than newegg, when ordering any sort of quantity. My shipping charges for 118 cables were $22 and change. Which is approx $0.19 per cable shipping charge.

With newegg, even ordering in quantity, they charge $2 and change, PER CABLE, for shipping. Which is ridiculous.
