I started dating my ex when I was 17 and she was 15...then it was 18 and 15 for 4 months, so it was a pretty similar situation to yours. It's fine...well, depends on your intentions I guess. I had the intention of EVENTUALLY having sex with my ex, but I waited until she was ready, which was 2 years...don't know how your situation will be, but if you just walked up to her and started making out, things might happen a little faster.

Kids are getting hotter, younger, these days...so have fun. 😉

I beg to differ, Ameesh. I was an 18 year old male once, for an entire year. I can assure that sex was usually the last thing on my mind.

i am 18... wanted to be with a girl who was 15... it's really more of a be with her, not necessarily have sex with her. but i guess none of you understand that. a relationship doesnt have to include sex... one thing i find important is morals, and i beleive it to be of higher morals to wait till you are with the one you want forever to have sex...

now, to you fathers.

if a 18 year old man starts getting to know your 15 year old daughter.... assuming she's dating age in your mind, but he comes to dinner at your house, talks to you, always appears well dressed and respectable, and seems to genuinely be interested in being in the company of your daughter, not having sex with her... would you really be that hard about the relationship?

My girlfriends dad wasn't happy when we first got together, but after he got to know me it was fine, because he knew I would never do anything to hurt her.

The answer to your question, really, is that it depends on the people. 2.5 years isn't anything in the scheme of things, but peoples perceptions are different.

Nick, you're about the same age as I am. Personally, I would find dating a girl that age a little creepy, but mostly because she'd be younger than my sister who I sort of feel like I helped raise. There's a HUGE difference in maturity between 15 and 18. In about three or four years, it wouldn't be so bad, but any earlier and it just wouldn't seem right.
