This looks to be the specs on the 18" model.

Seems like a nice deal (no better deal on this model found online), but I wish I could find some epinions or something on this one.

decent lcd... great price... but the contrast ration ain't that high.... I wonder whats the ms on this.

The viewing angle on this LCD is terrible. On a quality LCD the viewing angle is 140-170 degrees horizontal and vertical. On this one it's 80 and 40 degrees! Ugh.

I saw this monitor on display at Fry's. I decided to pass since it had no DVI connection.
BTW, Gem is the manufacturer.

Although 80/40 sounds a lot less than 150+, but when do you really look at a monitor at more than 20 degrees from the center? The rise/fall times seem ok too. At 18.1" I think it's a hot buy!

Your reading that wrong, the total veiwing angle would be 160 horizontal and 80 vertical. They are going from the center out 80 deg left and 80 deg right. If you had 160degs to the right or left from the middle you could see behind the monitor.
