This isn't that acer with IBM glass last time.. max 1280x1024.. not bad for 669, no idea about the quality.. good luck

Just spoke with some guy @ Ecost and he wasn't helpfull at all.
Very rude and couldnt even give me any reference nor any ideas on if the product was backorder..
 
It's not that bright compared to other LCDs.. However, I would like to know what it's response rate is. Cheap... 🙂

Since I made up mind on an LCD monitor for today, Let me know which is best to get..
The brighter the better..
How do you tell the brightness on them?

 
Well, when this deal started I called Ecost and they said there wasn't any more left of those monitors. Had no ideas when they would get some more. Next thing I know, they raised the price to $799, just like PCMALL.com. I told the rep that I wanna buy now ( when it was at $668) and they can ship it whenever it was back in stock. He refused and hung up, now to my big suprise they have more than 200 in stock,go figure!
Never again will I buy from Ecost.com. What they are doing is unfair, that's what you call blackmarket.
If you guys want to support this kind of business, good luck..

I went to those links to check it out (nice, BTW) and was playing around, and threw one in a shopping cart. I then clicked on what I assumed was the &quot;checkout&quot; button. After clicking it, I was seriously freaked out, because my name and address was already filled out. I was trying to figure out how some Korean site had my info on file, then I realized it was a Yahoo! storefront, and that I was logged into Yahoomail in another browser window. Whew...I almost had a heart attack! :Q
 
Well, I got one and having some big problem with it.
When my system reboots the monitor stays bleu, not getting any signals.
In order for it to come back up I have to turn it off and on for it to receive the signal.

How's the monitor for clarity? Is it pretty much on par with other LCDs? That wouldn't seem to be too much of a big problem. I had a similar problem with an IBM 18.1&quot; that I had. Probably some weird stuff with the DVI inputs or something. For that price, I wouldn't complain too much as long as it does it's job.
 
Clarity is good, except for this monitor is not compatible with the ATI RADEON ALL IN WONDER.

Swapped the card with an old Diamond Stealth III 540 and problem fixed.
