Warm deal, I guess.
Went to CompUSA and found a little MIR slip for $50 off 17" 753DF. Went to buy.com to check out some pricing.

PM Staples: $ 190.90
Online Coupon -30.00
Samsung Rebate:-50.00
Total: $ 110.90

I'm pretty sure Staples has free shipping on this bad boy.

Good deal if you need a sweet monitor. Only lasts till June 30th. Maybe there's another online store selling it for cheaper, but I trust buy.com. Later

Thanks to Homer, by the way.

Hey 8LIGHT:

where is the rebate from? CompUSA? or is it from samsung?

If it is from Sam sung, you might able to pricematch with staples.

They have it for $206.49

PM it to $167.95
Use a $30 off $150
rebate of $50
$167.95 - $80 = 87.95 + tax + shipping (maybe, depends on the CSR)

So it might be possible to get it for around $100 after PM, Coupon, Rebate.

The [link deleted] is from Samsung.

If you want this rebate, you must get an original from a vendor. The form says:

From samsung eh...good. Then hopefully you can PM w/ staples, use a coupon, send in the rebate and have a very nice monitor for ~$100

$168
-$30 coupon
=$138 + tax (maybe $10-12) + shipping (could range anywhere from $0-???)
-$50 rebate
final price = ~$100

Not too bad.

Homer

edit: If this works, change your title to let others know it can be found for cheaper. :)

Scanned the rebate, I'm seriously, if the Staples thing works it's a nifty deal.

Again, [link deleted].

well crap...My monitor blew up on Friday, so I went and got this for 229.99 at BB with a $50MIR...

I only though there was a $20 rebate from Samsung, not $50...

Luckily I used my Amex Blue so I can do some pricematching over the next 60 days...

I have to get me one of these Amex Blue cards. I feel like a baseball player playing Right Field with no Mitt.

Hey everyone, I've always enjoyed free shipping from Staples.com
on any purchase over $50. This monitor deal should be
free shipping also.

Tried to PM this at $159 from EMS computing, they would do it but would tack on shipping charges which was $30 bucks so the savings was a wash even with coupon.. Damn..wanted to get this one for my gf too..

Tried to PM at Staples B&M a monitor sold at Fry's..damn gave me the "they have rebate so we can't do it" yet when you pricematch them, they always state that they offer rebate or something other bs..

Also. the ChumpUSA deal is probably an exclusive to their stores because the manufacturer's rebate is only for 20 bucks.

when you PM with staples, don't they add what buy.com would have
charged for shipping onto the PM price, since staples offers
free shipping. The only way to get the buy.com price would
be if buy.com also offered free shipping? right guys?

Hey 8 light,

don't mean to keep naggin you bout editin, but the title should not be 87.95 shipped. Because it is indeed not $87.95 shipped. It's more like $100+ shipped. Just wanted to let you know in case ppl were mislead.

This is a great deal but people should make sure that this rebate will work with a staples purchase. There was a thread a while ago on this same monitor and I believe another member was having difficulty getting his rebate. Just a heads up.

There is a lot of jumble with this post. What exactly is the shippin cost gonna be? I am looking at this deal w/out the MIR. I jus need to know if it will be under 140 -150 without mir.

See my above post. Staples cannot ship the item overnight because the monitor is drop shipped directly from Ingram Micro. This means that Staples can only charge you for Ground Shipping. With a little whining and crying, I am sure you can get the Staples CSR to drop the shipping charges because the normal shipping rate through Staples is free for orders over $50(IIRC).

hey, just got an email saying that Buy.com is having a free shipping in all stores...so staples shouldn't be able to charge shipping if you PM thru buy.com!!!

Homer

hope it works for y'all
