chances are in NY your going to get screwed and have to pay around $2-3K to get it fixed. Your going to have to have it towed in and most likely that will be $100 on the bill unless you have like AAA or covered by insurance.

EDIT: Just reread your post...this is the SECOND time rebuilding this transmission? wtf dood....get rid of the car...its not worth it...
 
I know a few places here in Queens that I've gotten my old Sentra's transmission rebuilt before for about 800 to 1000. Let me know if you want the number and I'll get it for you later today

what the hell are you talking about? did you ever get a transmission rebuilt in NY?
